Doll Notes
I originally bought this body for my Souldoll Ku head, but misread the measurements and greatly under estimated the size, so it ended up way too small. I really loved the body though, so decided to keep it for something else. My second idea for the body was to use it to shell an OC called Lamp-Chan who has a human body and a lampshade head. This turned out uite difficult to do with resin however, as I wanted to add electronics to make her light up. I've decided to shell her with a vinyl doll instead.
That left this body headless for quite some time, until a friend and member of my local doll comm brought a Soom Silt / Keny head to a doll picnic. I thought it would be a good match for the body, and it tuned out to fit the neck perfectly!
Even after finally getting a head, she sat for another two year swith no eyes, faceup or plan! I had a vague idea to make her something cyber themed and neon, but it didn't stick. Then the idea to make her into a mermaid occured to me and I finally decided to start work on her properly.
I love dyeing dolls, so this seemed a great excuse to do so again! I went for Rit Dyemore 'Kentucky Sky' blue this time and I think the colour is lovely.
After dyeing her, she all came together in a few months. I got her some lovely hand made eyes from another member of my comm and brought her head with me to the 2025 UK BJD Con, so that she could try on some wigs. I think the bright shade of this one I got from Hannasu's stall is perfect.
Because of the fringe and hime cut, I decided to give her some cutesy style makeup to match the cute hair style. The heart eyebrows were a whime, but I really like how they turned out. I tried to give her mouth a glimpse of pointy teeth, like a deep sea anglerfish. I think she turned out really cute but also a little creepy, which is just what I wanted.
Character Notes
Short, angry and will fight you. Tough exterior but secretly has a heart of gold and is very loyal to her friends.
