My Scene
As a hardcore Barbie fan since the age of 3, when the new My Scene line launched in 2002 I was in love at once. I had initially been intruiged by Bratz, but almost immediately decided I hated them. (How dare any doll be more beloved than Barbie, thought tween me.) I didn't own a Bratz doll until 2020!
My Scene was the perfect alternative for me. I first saw them in shops on holiday with my family and have very fond memories of buying my first one that holiday. I used to love taking photos of my My Scene dolls on my tiny Polaroid iZone. I hope one day they bring the film back.
