I thought it would be fun to have a page for all my plush friends too, so here we are! Mouse over to read more about each friend.
TOBY. Toby is a 90s TY Beanie Baby Bernie and I have had him since I was 7. My mum bought him for me as an Easter gift and he still goes everywhere with me. I love the sound his beans make and he can fit in my jumper sleeve if I am anxious. Sometimes he sits on my shoulder.
CINNAMOROLL. This funny misshapen Cinnamoroll was given to me by my best friend. I love him. He makes a great pillow and his silly floppy form makes me smile. So scrungly.
FRANCES. Frances is a huge Pokémon Time Togekiss plush that used to belong to my best friend. I first saw this plush when I helped them arrange their Pokémon in a cute display and I fell in love with it. Years later, when we were redoing the Pokemon display, they gifted it to me! We had a very fun day playing 'Pokémon Centre' - cleaning up all the plushes together, bathing and brushing them. In Pokémon Sword, I named my Togetic Frances and, when she finally evolved into Togekiss, I named this plush after her. Plush Frances is very fun to hug.
ROND BOI. Rond Boi is another of my favourite Pokémon, Rowlet! He is very squishy because he is from the Mocchi-Mocchi plush series.
FURRET. This is the best Furret plush ever because it's actually a neck pillow!
DRAGON. This dragon is a plush from one of the How To Train Your Dragon TV shows, which I have never watched, but I just thought this dragon is so cute! He has wings that flap! And he was on sale so cheap, I couldn't resist adopting him when I went on a toy shop date with my boyfriend. He really needs a better name, but I keep just calling him Dragon! I knitted him a fluffy yellow harness with a detachable strap, so that I can wear him like a bag. I took him with me to my very first Pride, as he matched my outfit perfectly and on the bus home a woman who is a big dragon fan complimented him. I told her they were on sale cheap in the mall, so I hope she adopted one too!
SAMARA. I bought Samara from a neighbor who was moving house in the 00s. I had always loved the big plush tiger my childhood friend had on her bed and I was really happy to find one of mine own. Samara is very comforting to hug and makes a great pillow too.
RAT BEAR. Another gift from my best friend! They gave it to me when I was helping them tidy their room, because they had two in different colours and wanted to declutter. My sister loved it so much that I got her one for Christmas.
GREG. My boyfriend bought Greg for me from a Pride market. Greg rode with me in my wheelchair in the Pride march, the first one I have participated in. Greg says trans rights now!
ROWAN. I bought Rowan from my local charity shop. Sometimes she sits on my bed, but she has to take it in turns with Samara and Frances, because they're all big and my bed is only small!
AMAURA. Amaura is one of my favourite pokemon, so I was super excited when I happened across this plush in a second hand gaming store!
BARBOACH. A birthday gift from my best friend. This sitting cuties or pokemon fit range is the only Barboach plush that exists. I know it's not a common fave, but Barboach is one on mine. I just love how he moves! So wiggly.
ROTOM. Another fave pokemon! I got this one second hand in a bundle of rotom charm bracelet charms. I was building a charm bracelet of my poke faves and so I couldn't pass up this great deal. I sometimes use this plush as a big one for my dolls too.
CALLIE. Callie is a Scruff-a-Luv that I adopted in 2020 lockdwon. Me and my boyfriend both got one and had a fun day together washing them. My boyfriend actually had a dream the day before where he predicted the exat ones that we would get! A blue cat for me and a pink bunny for him.
GRIFFIN. Griffin's are one of my favourite mythical creatures. My bestie got a fantasy Scruff-a-Luv where you could get either a dragon, pegasus or griffin. They ended up not liking the griffin they got and, knowing my love of griffins, gave it to me! There's something very 90s about this fantasy collection. The fur has tinsel, the wings are iridescent, like many 90s fantasy themed things, and the collar and comb are both in transluscent plastic. The brush that came with this griffin has become of my favourites for doing doll hair.
MY SWEET PIANO. Piano is my favourite Sanrio character. In my opinion, this is the most perfect Sweet Piano plush. She came as a pair attatched to a My Melody plush, but me and my bestie unpicked the stitches so they could both roam free. My friend has the Melody, I have the Piano.
ARABELLA. I have had this bunny since I was a kid in the 90s. She reminds me of the bunny from the book 'Rosie's Babies' by Martin Wadell. As a grown up, my best friend gave me some of their old build-a-bear items and I found these glasses looked so cute on her! The bows she is wearing are build-a-bear too and the cardigan is a child's charity shop find. Once I took her to a teddy bear's picnic themed lolita meet and i think she had a great time.
ASTARION. My boyfriend got me this adorable Astarion plush from MCM. He is so cute and I love his glow in the dark eyes! He is handmade by Galeorb, who also does other BG3 characters
RONAN. My boyfriend made me this cute grumpy doll of my favourite character from the Raven Boys series by Maggie Stiefvater. He was a birthday gift in 2020. My boyfriend makes really cool rag dolls - sometimes with embroidered faces, sometimes with hand drawn faces. They all have such a recognisable style and so much character. I love my tiny Ronan. He also has a wire skeleton so he can pose!
EGG SON. My nanny knitted me this Humpty Dumpty when I was a kid. At the time, he was probably about the same size as me! More recently I started calling him 'Egg Son' and it just sort of stuck, although he's almost as old as I am!
SPARKY. I took this dog to primary school with me in reception. I used to carry him about a lot as a child. He feels so nice to hold, or maybe it's just nostalgia. He has that good thick 90s faux fur and if you make him dance about his ears flop over his head, which is so cute.
PUPY PUPPY. Another childhood dog with great 90s fur. My dad won him for me an a claw machine at the amusements. As you can see, he is missing an ear. I know I still have it somewhere, but I can't find it! I am going to make him a replacement, or perhaps several in different colours that he can clip on and off.
PUDSEY. This pudsey was in my cot when I was a baby. Probably he was once bigger than me! He also once flew out of the car when the door swung open on a roundabout. I was too small to remember, but luckily I was strapped in safely when the door opened. My parents went back to rescue pudsey for me and he seems to have fared well through the whole ordeal.
LEMON. My mum bought me this jellycat lemon as a holiday souvenir a few years ago.
KIKI. With the trend of vinyl face blind box plushes, I hadn't seen any that caught my eye so was late to buying any at all. BUt then I discovered that Lovely Emma had some and knew I had to get one! I've alwasy loved the designs of lovely emma figures, but I'm not a fan of figures myself, so never bought any. However, plush friends are a different matter. I knitted kiki a jumper and I plan to knit all my blind box friends little jumpers!
LILI. A blind box shop opened up near me and I went in to have a browse. I wanted to buy a Nommi, because my friend had recently bought one and I thought they were very cute and loved the different eyes. The shop also had some ex display ones and this one just called to me. First of all, it's lovely emma! Second of all, it's my favourite colour. It's basically me as a bunny (well, lovely emma is actually a cat I think. A cat in a bunny hood, on this occasion.)
NOMMI. This is the Nommi I bought when I went in search. Funnily enough, it's exactly the same one as my friend has who made me want to get one in the first place! I haven't quite finished the knitted outfit, I need to decorate it, but I think the white fluffy wool is a good fit.
TUTULONG. I saw tutulong online and capitalism really worked it's tricks on me. I couldn't stop thinking about them for months. I didn't buy one because it seemed frivilous. I figured if they eventually got them in store then I would maybe get one on a rare trip out into the world, but my local blind box shop never seems to stock them. Then, a friend's birthday was approaching. For my birthday the month before she had gotten me a cute Nommi - the puppy one. So, I thought it would be nice to get her a blind box too. So, as I was ordering a different blind box for her, I thought I may as well finally give in to my desire to adopt a tutulong! I even ended up getting my favourite one from the set! I love them. I don't think a knitted jumper will work quite as well for them, but I do want to make them different accessories to mux and match.
Puppy Nommi. My friend got me this Nommi for my birthday (2026.) She was hoping I would get one of the pastel variants, but actually I'm very happy with this one as I can wear him with different outfits that my others wouldn't match. His floppy ears also remind me of Toby, which is obviously great. I wish this dress also came in my size, I think it's so cute. He originally had two big heavy metal gold coins attatched to him, but I thought those were odd and removed them. Instead I added a little blue neck ribbon and made a red pompom to accesorise him instead.
Yooki pouch. My boyfriend got this cute friend for my birthday (2026.) Not just a friend, but also a bag! Well, sort of. It fits maybe a pound coin at most. Maybe I could use it for my lip balm? I took this friend out with me for the first time to watch Project Hail Mary with a friend at the cinema and it was the perfect movie buddy! So soft, I love stroking the ears. Also, so perfect for sweet lolita coords!

I HAVE WHEELS. I love the book The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett, and one key thing about the titular 'educated rodents' is that they named themselves after things they read in the rubbish dump, before learning what the words all meant. I had a wheeled underbed storage box as a child and a big sticker on it boldly preclaimed 'I have wheels!' I thought this was a great phrase that might catch the eye of a freshly literate rat, so that is how I Have Wheels got her name. Rats are one of my favourite animals.

SCORCH. An iconic Beanie Baby. I really love his holographic wings.
BLOATY FISH. Named by my dad, I have had Bloaty Fish since I was a child. He is named thus because I cheerfuly asked my dad "what should I call him?" and he jokingly replied "Bloaty Fish" presumably because of his round shape. I, being autistic and a child, had no idea that he was joking, so Bloaty Fish he became and has been ever since.

FRANKLIN PEACH. I got Franklin Peach at the first ever convention I went to - Hyper Japan. It was a terrible convention, but I still had a great time because I was with my boyfriend. Franklin Peach has a squeaker inside him and his long body is so cute! I sometimes use him as a body pillow style plush for my dolls.
