It's time for my annual most worn blog post! I don't know why, but I love doing this. Probably my autism. I always think of this as 'kawaii data collecting.'
Last year had a clear winner. This year there is a single winner once more! Not by such a leap as last year, but here it is on the top of the heap. A new entry for my most worn, although it's been in my wardrobe since 2022
And the winner is...

A comfy, casual piece, which is a pretty good indicator of my style preferences recently. I have been valuing comfort above all else. Plus it's blue! One of my favourite colours. I've been enjoying styling this dress with non lolita pieces, for a fun and casual look. As you can see, I twice wore it with the same Lazy Oaf cardigan, enjoying the mismatched blue plaids together. I especially like how this dress looks with the trainers I bought this year. In fact, I think the trainers coord is probably my favourite way I have ever worn this dress. |
And now for the runners up, as it would be a very short blog post otherwise! All tied in second place with only 2 coords each. I actually forgot to take a photo of my last coord of the year, but I made a collage instead.

A regular here in my most worn blog post - this lovely JSK, made by my friend Katsu, is so comfy and versatile. As with the blue OP above, I think I wore my favourite coord of this dress this year! The worn photo was my coord for summer ILD. I paired it with this wonderful jacket I got from my favourite local clothes shop - TRASH. They make amazing clothes from repurposed fabrics. This jacket has quickly become one of my very favourite pieces of clothing. The second coord I think is a repeat of an outfit I wore a few years ago, but with a new Meta blouse I bought this year. I wore this for boxing day with my boyfriend's family. I love this Pink House jumper, it goes so well with my wardrobe and is really comfy too. |

One of my favourite dresses, I especially love wearing long length skirts in the winter to keep my legs warm, so these are both colder weather coords. They're almost the exact same coord, even with the same Chocoship Cookie strawberry bonnet, which I just love with this dress. The first coord I went for black and white to bring out the white parts of the print. I'm pretty sure I have worn this exact coord before too! The second coord I wore my new Meta blouse. I have been trying to buy new more roomy blouses recently, as many of my original ones no longer fit comfortably, so Meta really delivered on that front. This was my first time coording this blouse and I was very happy with it. I added my La Luice bunny bag and a cute Lovely Emma bunny charm for a fun look. I wore this coord on an 'adventure' with my best friend to get hot chocolate together and I was very cosy and comfy in my layers. |

A recent addition to my wardrobe - I bought this salopette at my local comm's swap meet this year. I've always loved this print and it was such a steal at the swap meet that I couldn't resist. Salopette's are such a fun and casual cut, so because of this I was inclined to style it with non lolita things, like my Silly Girl Club denim Barbie jacket and my trainers. It also has lots of colours in the print, making it interesting to coord with different colours. I wore it with lavender and blue for my Boyfriend's birthday party and I think it's one of my favourite coords of the year. I can easily see this piece showing up in my most worn again, because it's so comfy, th eprint makes me happy and I still have lots of things I'd like to try it with, plus I would wear both of these coords again. |

Now that both my Lovely Alphabet OPs have been transformed into JSKs, I am loving wearing them again. As with the squirrel salopette, there are so many colours in the print of the pink one that make it super exciting to coord. The first coord I went for an almost entirely pink look, but added some more colours with the Dreamy Bows tote bag and the Lovely Emma bag charm. I love wearing these big chunky Yosuke shoes with things like this. I think it helps tip the overall look more towards playful and alt, which is my personal preference, and less toward cutesy sweet. I actually had to replace these shoes this year, as my originals completely fell apart! They were second hand and already a bit worse for wear when I got them, so I knew it would happen eventually. I'm so happy I was able to replace them with the exact same ones, or my wardrobe would have suffered greatly! The second coord I wanted to play into all the colours in the print, so I wore this Silly Girl Club 80s My Little Pony duvet cover heart jumper. This is another of my favourite coords of the year - bright pink is one of my favourite colours to wear and when mixed with so many other colours like this it just makes me so happy. As a side note, this R.R Memorandum Sanrio beret should really have a place in most worn all it's own! I wear it so often, it's just the perfect shade of bright pink. |

Only one coord photo here, but I actually wore this exact coord twice and just didn't bother to take a photo the second time - once to a winter ILD meal and the second time to carolling with my mum. Even though the patterns are flowers and strawberries, the colours are festive, so that's what inspired me to wear it in December. I love how it looks with the new (old) Meta headdress I also got from the swap meet. It adds a lovely pop of red to balance all the red accents. The red and white striped socks put me in mind of candy canes. |

Two totally different coords with this one dress! The first, my mum wanted to try putting together an outfit for me using things from my cyber wardrobe, specifically this orange mesh zip top given to me by my high school best friend years ago. This is what we came up with. I think it looks very rave appropriate! The second coord is more typical of how I style this dress - with berries and picnic vibes. I wore it for mine and my boyfriend's eight year anniversary. The tie and headdress were made by him for my birthday a few years ago, so I built the coord around those items especially for the event. I really love how the different berry prints look together. |

A go-to dress of mine. The lack of a waistband seam makes it very comfy to wear. It's fun to see how different these coords are from each other, even though they use the same base dress. The first one was for a picnic meet with my comm, so I styled it in a very picnic way. I always wear this straw hat to picnics. Because I don't do so well in the sun and need the protection, all my picnic coords have to be built around this hat. I think this always gives a Studio Ghibli vibe to my picnic looks, as the hat reminds me of Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. The second look was for a fun nostalgic themed date with my boyfriend to CEX. It was February and pretty cold, so I got creative with the layering to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable. I think this was the first coord I did with the Lazy Oaf cardigan, which inspired me to wear it again with other coords later. (These two coords are actually in the wrong order, time line wise. I wore the Lazy Oaf one before the picnic one.) |
Here is a closer look at two other items that showed up a lot in this post- The RRM beret and the Lazy Oaf cardigan. I love berets, they have become my most commonly worn headwear, but this pink one is definately my favourite. The Lazy Oaf cardigan I got really cheap in the sale and I am so happy with it. It's warm, it has pockets and it goes with pretty much everything I own! The design is all intarsia knitted, not printed, which makes it extra wonderful. I love this collab so much, I would really like to get more things from it.
