Red gingham is my orginal favourite fabric, ever since I was a child. I've wanted to add some red gingham to my wardrobe for ages, and this dress has been on my wishlist for a long time too.

My parents wanted to buy me some lolita for my birthday, so I was really excited to find it for sale with my birthday coming up. It was such a good deal that they were able to get me two dresses! So, this one is a present from my dad, the other from my mum.

With it's spaghetti straps, It's perfect for going bare shouldered in summer. 2002 Meta is my favourite of all lolita and I just feel like my peak self in this dress. Wearing this dress makes me feel so happy.
