I got this OP in a big trade with some friends. They basically cleared out my whole sales/trades album! I was really pleased. I absolutely love trading with friends. I was so excited when they offered me this OP as part of the trade. I have admired this dress for such a long time, I can't believe I own it now!

All the detatchable parts are so cool. Trumpet sleeves are one of my big old school loves. I also love the detatchable collar. It's so cool to be able to change up the look by removing it.

I don't know why this is listed as 'royal tartan check' when it is clearly houndstooth, but oh well. Houndstooth doesn't quite come close to gingham (my one true love) but it is one of my favourite patterns, especially in colder weather. I guess it's the cold weather counter part to sunny feeling gingham.
